GBS Featured at Timberland’s Earth Keepers

Timberland recently released a new environmentally friendly line, boasting footwear made from recycled and organic materials. As part of a new green iniative, Timberland has launched a social networking site and blog called Earthkeepers and explain:

We believe it’s time for companies, like ours, to take a look at how the way they do business affects the environment and do something about it. Earthkeepers is one way we’re trying to do exactly that. Our goal—inspire and engage one million Earthkeepers.

Their latest blog post urges students returning to campus this month to leave their cars at home and seek alternative modes of transportation. We were very excited to find that In the post, Green Bike Share is featured as a sustainable and healthy way to get around campus.
