Interested in alternative transportation? Public health? Conserving energy? Sustainable development? Bicycles?!
Then get involved with the Green Bike Share at UC Berkeley! The Green Bike Share pilot project, funded partially by a $10,000 grant from Big Ideas! at UCB will establish an initial fleet of 20 bright green bicycles as a means to provide an affordable alternative form of transportation to students, faculty and staff of UC Berkeley.

- Learn how to conduct basic bicycle maintenance
- Receive 2 Units of Field Study Credit through Energy Resource Group (198)
- Be involved in a democratic, fun and green organization
- Learn the dynamics and logistics of the non-profit sector, especially working with green businesses
- Gain full access to Green Bike Share bikes, equipment and services
No experience necessary, all majors welcome.
